What's actually happening:

Install itself is usually 2 to 4 days for a whole house, depending on how much is built-in. The team assembles on site, levels everything, and fixes to the wall. Expect some dust and a few polystyrene blocks to clear afterwards.
Final steps that matter:
- Levelling - shims under the kickboard so doors hang straight.
- Alignment - adjust hinges so gaps are even.
- Defects - note every scratch on the handover form.
You're now inside the HDB 1-year defect liability period, so anything that droops or delaminates in the first year is a callback, not a new bill.
